# Migration guides

> Guides for moving data workflows from Excel, Tableau Prep, Power Query, Alteryx or Python and pandas to Mammoth, plus a seven-phase migration checklist.

These guides are for analysts, managers, and IT administrators who currently prepare data in another tool and want to move some or all of that work to Mammoth. Each guide compares the tool with Mammoth, shows how common steps translate, and describes how to run both tools side by side while you validate results.
