### How do I remove duplicate rows?

Use the **Remove duplicate rows** task and choose whether to compare **All columns**, **All columns, except** some, or **Only specific columns**. See [Filter, label & replace](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/transform/filter-label-replace).

### How do I join two views?

Use the Join task from Unify. Click **Select a view to join with**, define the key columns, choose the columns to bring in, and set the join type. See [Unify](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/transform/unify).

### How do I use AI to transform a column?

Open a View, click the **Describe your transformation** bar, and choose **Generative AI**. A Workspace Owner must add an external API key first. See [Generative AI](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/transform/generative-ai/).

### How do I fix a pipeline task that failed?

Click **Fix error** on the failed task card. The task's panel reopens with the problem highlighted. See [Pipeline health and error states](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/transform/pipeline-health-and-error-state).

### How do I stop bad data from moving down the pipeline?

Add a Data Check. Open the Transform menu, choose **Controls**, select **Data Check**, configure the check, and click **Apply**. See [Pipeline controls](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/transform/controls/).

### How do I reuse a value across many filters?

Create a Parameter. Click **New Parameter** in the Data Library, then reference it in your pipeline conditions. See [Parameters and snippets](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/data-library/parameters-snippets/).

## Exploring data

### How do I get AI observations about my data?

Click the **View Insights** button on the right side of the action bar, next to the Export button. See [View insights](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/explore-discover/view-insights).

### How do I check the quality of my data?

Click the **View Data Quality** button on a View to generate a Data Quality Report. See [Data quality report](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/explore-discover/data-quality-report).

### How do I build a KPI from a column?

Use the Metrics panel. See [Metrics panel](https://docs.mammoth.io/learn/explore-discover/metrics-panel).
