Projects

Projects are a way to organize your work in Mammoth. A project is also a collaborative space where you and your team can come together to explore and transform data. You can either create your own project or collaborate with other team members’ projects.

All your projects appear under Projects on the left panel.

Creating a project

To create a project,

  1. Click on the + sign next to Projects on the left panel

  2. Enter a project name

  3. Click on Submit.

The project will appear under the Projects section in the left panel:

Adding data to a project

You can create datasets in any project with the “Add data” button.

Learn how to import from various sources.

Sharing a project

To share a project,

  1. Click on the ‘Share’ button on the top right of your project

  2. Select team members from the drop down list

  3. Specify the role for each member

  4. And submit.

The shared project will appear under Projects in their library.

Supported options

  1. Rename Project: This option allows project admins to rename projects.

  2. Leave Project: This option allows you to leave a project. Once you leave a project you cannot access its contents.

  3. Delete Project: This allows project admins to delete a project. Once a project is deleted, all the data in that project will get permanently deleted.

Note

You cannot move assets between Projects since each is a separate entity. However, you can use branch outs to send data from a View to a Project.
